Under the action of high voltage, the scandium line is blue and the sodium line is yellow, and the two colors cooperate to produce the light close to the sunlight, which makes the light have the advantages of high luminosity, good light color, energy saving, long life and strong fogging force.
Gadolinium Gallium Scangarnet (GGSG) can be made by adding pure Sc2O3 (99.9%) or greater to gadolinium gallium garnet (GGG), which constitutes Gd3Sc2Ga3O12 type. The third-generation laser produced by it can increase the transmitted power by 3.0 times than the laser of the same volume. It has achieved the high-power and miniaturized laser device, improved the output power of laser oscillation and improved the performance of the laser. When the single crystal is prepared, the raw material is about 1.0kg if Sc2O3 is added or greater than 99.9%. At present, this kind of laser is widely used in military technology, and is also gradually introduced to civil industry. From the perspective of development, there will be greater potential for military and civilian use in the future.
Scandium target material is the main application direction of semiconductor evaporation coating material at present. Meanwhile, Solid Oxide Fuel Cell (SOFC) is also making extensive use of scandium Oxide as the main raw material.
