*Terbium Metal/ Sputtering Target is a silver-gray active metal with a molecular formula of Tb. The powder is easily self-igniting in the air and easily soluble in acid, Insoluble in water.

*After exposure to oxygen in the air, it is very easy to exotherm into oxidized rare earth. The package is sealed and must not be in contact with air. It should be stored separately from oxidants, acids, halogens, and food chemicals. 

*This is a raw materials for other Special alloys, hydrogen storage alloy additives and Magnetostrictive material, etc. It is a silvery-white, rare earth metal that is malleable, ductile, and soft enough molded into other shapes.

*It is widely also used in actuators, naval sonar systems, sensors SoundBug devices and other magnetomechnical devices. Terbium is also used as a crystal stabilizer for fuel cells which operate at high temperatures.
