Product Details

Bismuth oxide is a yellow powder, insoluble in water and soluble in acids. It can be reduced by carbon and hydrogen. Prepared by heating and decomposition of bismuth nitrate. Used to produce bismuth metal, catalyst and bismuth oxide superconductor.

Application

Therefore, Bi2O3 is a promising visible light catalyst for water and pollutant degradation.
